Here is a photo of the 1958 600cc Sports Twin.
If you look at a British book on Matchless, it will say that the company started building the 650cc G12 in 1959, but in 1958 US importer Frank Cooper ordered about 240 special 650cc G12CS Hurricanes for racing against the 650cc Triumphs and BSA’s.
Matchless motorcycles do not have matching frame and engine numbers.
Sold AS IS with a bill of sale.

The engine has a magneto so a battery is not required for the engine.
Operating the horn and lights will require a new wiring harness, a few switches, and a battery or battery eliminator. The total cost should be less than $200. A battery eliminator could be installed inside an OEM Lucas battery box. The engine has a generator in addition to the magneto.
The asking price for this motorcycle is $9,950 USD.
